Friday Night Opening Concert & Party
An electrifying opening night with salsa & latin dance classes for all levels with José Sandoval Dance; Dance act with Angel Casamayor and Angie Timba Cubana; closing the night with a live salsa concert by Rusdell Núñez y su Sabor Concentra’o featuring Cuban singer Beatriz Gabote.
Authentic Cuban food & drinks will be available for purchase!
Saturday Family Cultural Day
Six hours of family-friendly Cuban magic! Live music, dance workshops for all ages, cultural activities, and authentic Cuban food & drinks available for purchase.
Children’s activities (face painting, drawing, hula hoop and more); new generation of musicians demonstration by the Start Suzuki Guitar Studio; traditional Cuban music by Cuban Quartet (Ottawa); and a rueda de casino time with Lisa Dubois and Cuban Motion. A raffle will be also active with amazing gifts at different moments and of course, a Happy Birthday V Anniversary Fiesta Cubana Fest Cake & Piñata time!
Saturday Night Grand Finale “Ottawa Goes Latin”
Ottawa goes Latin with three music acts! Opening performance by Jô Luterio (Brazil) and Sambaê (Toronto), followed by Cuban Rumba Master Amado Dedeu’s ensemble and closing with internationally acclaimed Cuban band Timbalive — an unforgettable high-energy show, a fusion of timba, salsa, and Afro-Cuban rhythms.
