Events Description

Who will be the Kilt Skate Capital of Canada? Let’s see if Ottawa can claim the title.
We’re encouraging everyone to create their own socially distanced kilt skate event wherever you are in the Ottawa area.
Wear your tartan, wear your kilt. Take pictures or videos and post them to your social media account using #KiltSkate2021, #OttScot, #ScotlandIsNow and #KiltSkate20201Ottawa. All hashtags must be used on your post to be included in the final tally for the winner of the Great Canadian Kilt Skate Capital of Canada.
Safety Measures:
Wear your mask if you are within 15 meters (50 feet) of any City of Ottawa rink or as you prepare to skate. Masks are always recommended but may be removed if you are skating and keep a distance of 2m from others outside of your household.
