Events Description
In celebration of Ottawa 200, we have included new events to showcase Ottawa’s history and beginnings. This year, we are pleased to announce that all events are free! HCPCA gratefully acknowledges the financial support of the City of Ottawa.
We have a horse-drawn wagon ride, bouncy castle, face painting, Little Ray’s Reptiles, a fire truck, and mermaids. City Staff are opening the wading pool early for everyone to enjoy and cool down. Pathway Patrol is there to share tips on bicycle etiquette and safety on our community pathways, and the Ottawa Public Library’s shares some reads on Ottawa’s history, while our local community police mingle with residents. The 137th Ottawa Scouts Group will be there to serve-up hot dogs, s’mores, and drinks. The Karate Fit, from the mall, provides a demonstration of their moves. Our local South-East Ottawa Youth Education Centre have games and sno cones! We look forward to seeing you there!
