Looking for a creative summer camp that goes beyond crafts?
The Urban Art Collective’s Not Your Typical Summer Camps are immersive, hands-on experiences for ages 8–15, where young artists create, explore, and experiment in a real working art studio.
Each week features a different creative theme, giving campers the opportunity to build new skills while expressing their own ideas. Working in small groups (maximum 12 campers) with experienced instructors and an educational assistant, participants receive plenty of individual support in a fun, welcoming environment.
Choose the camp that matches your child’s interests:
♻️ Art Remix Camp (July 27–31 & August 24–28)
Transform recycled and everyday materials into sculptures, installations, prints, and imaginative works of art.
🎨 Street Art Camp (August 3–7)
Explore stencil-making, mural design, lettering, paste-ups, and spray paint techniques inspired by real street art culture.
📸 Street Photography Camp (August 10–14)
Capture the city through photography, create cyanotypes, experiment with light and composition, and present your work in a gallery exhibition.
Every camp ends with a public showcase or gallery exhibition, where families can celebrate the incredible work created throughout the week.
🎬 Media Art Camp (August 17–21)
Create stop-motion animation, short films, digital art, and social media-style content while learning storytelling, filming, and editing.
Whether your child loves drawing, photography, filmmaking, street art, or building with unexpected materials, there’s a camp designed to spark their creativity.

HOW MUCH
Tickets : $325 per weekly camp
$325 + HST per camper, per week.
Price includes all art materials and instruction.
Camps run Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM at the Urban Art Collective Art Hub (50 Bayswater Ave., Ottawa).
Participants should bring a nut-free lunch, snacks, a water bottle, and clothing appropriate for creative activities. Some camps require participants to bring a smartphone or camera (details provided on the individual camp pages).
