OFF//SHOOTS Theatre Festival

What happens when young creators are empowered to sprout new ideas, let those ideas grow roots and flourish into shape? Welcome to OFF//SHOOTS, Youth Infringement’s brand new theatre festival coming to you October 8th-11th at Arts Court. For the first time ever, YIF will be presenting a curated fall festival.

Two mainstage shows, brought to you by YIF alumni, will headline our week. Ancillary programming includes a staged reading of scripts from this year’s YIF playwright’s lab and a 24 hour play competition open to anyone who would like to try their hand at theatre making. There’s something for everyone at OFF//SHOOTS! This year’s festival highlights the past, present, and future of YIF and Ottawa theatre, showing us what vibrant things grow from paved city streets.
