PaddleFest

PaddleFest is Arnprior’s annual celebration of all things paddling—a vibrant, family-friendly event that brings the community together for a day of fun on and off the water! Held at the scenic McLean Avenue Beach, PaddleFest offers a unique opportunity to explore the beautiful Ottawa River through guided kayak and paddleboard excursions, free demos, and beginner-friendly clinics—and the best part? It’s completely free to attend!

Whether you’re an experienced paddler or brand new to the sport, PaddleFest has something for everyone. Enjoy a relaxed beachside atmosphere with local food trucks, retail vendors, live music, and family activities throughout the day. New this year: gentle beach yoga, suitable for all experience levels.

The event also features hands-on learning, paddling safety info, and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow outdoor lovers. With strong community support and growing attendance, PaddleFest continues to shine a spotlight on the natural beauty of the Ottawa Valley while supporting local businesses and encouraging more people to get outside.
