The Sunset Ceremonies is a time-honoured tradition in Ottawa, featuring the world-famous RCMP Musical Ride and the signature Sunset Ceremony. The Musical Ride, with a full troop of 32 riders and their horses, consists of complex and thrilling cavalry figures and drills choreographed to music. These movements demand the utmost control, timing and coordination.

A troop of police officers and their horses delight audiences with a spectacular showcase of riding skills. Watch formations and historic cavalry drills all set to upbeat music.

The show ends with the not-to-be-missed world-famous “charge.”

Free parking in a field directly off the Sir George-Étienne-Cartier Parkway (formerly Rockcliffe Parkway).

Accessible parking is available on a first come, first serve basis, and is accessed through the South gate (Sandridge Rd and St. Laurent Boulevard)
