Join acclaimed international Indigenous activist Autumn Peltier in conversation with well-known Canadian broadcaster George Stroumboulopoulos, for this inspiring edition of the Shaping Canada series.
What does it take to change the world? In this thoughtful exchange, Peltier and Stroumboulopoulos talk about making your voice heard, both at home and abroad, and how a single voice can have a major impact.
Peltier will share the experiences that shaped her path as an Indigenous rights and water activist, along with the responsibilities involved in becoming a young Indigenous leader on the international stage. In addition, she will speak about her hopes, how she envisions the future of her cause, and the role each of us can play in advancing meaningful change.
Together, Peltier and Stroumboulopoulos will reflect on their own personal journeys, while also looking at the challenges involved in maintaining a public profile and navigating issues of identity and belonging, and how finding common ground can lead to a better future for all.
