Spanning all genres and inspirations of jazz, diverse cultures, traditions and an array of styles that covers the spectrum from pop, rock to lush harmonies, the Ottawa Jazz Festival has been a trailblazer for more than 40 years. As the only outdoor music festival with a grand presence in the city’s downtown core, the Festival highlights consummate, celebrated and diverse artists with international reputations, as well as, new and emerging talent. Set against the stunning backdrop of downtown Ottawa, audiences have a selection from ticketed and free shows.

Main Stage headliners: Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Kathleen Edwards, Al Di Meola The Electric Years, Lake Street Dive, Laufey (pronounced lay-vay), Norah Jones, and Veronica Swift, among others.
After Dark Series at Marion Dewar Plaza: The Yussef Dayes Experience, Butcher Brown, Huntertones, Begonia and Moon Hooch.
The Fourth Stage and the Azrieli Studio at the National Arts Centre: Kurt Elling, Chris Potter, Tom Harrell, Charlie Hunter and Darcy James Argue’s Secret Society, and many more.
