Events Description
Friday: Gates open at 7 pm. Set up camp, check in to your cabin, catch up with your friends, personal alcohol must remain at your campsite/cabin as there will be no Bar on Friday night. Food trucks open 7pm-10pm.
Saturday: Join the afternoon Games Garden for classics like horseshoes, cornhole, badminton, and more! Plus the 2nd annual Zucchini Race! Build your own race car out of a zucchini and let it rip in a downhill time trial vs your peers. Some tools and veg provided but don’t be afraid to source your own tires from thrift stores, bring that fast looking cuke, pens work great for axles, lots of tips available online!
Our epic Pickle Contest is back – to enter, simply bring your jar and $10 (per jar) to the stage upon arrival. We accept traditional and quick pickles, and fermentations! The contest runs from 3pm until 5pm, or until we run out of pickles! Your vote matters and tasting/judging is free for everyone! The winner will win glory and accolades from everyone in the land, plus 2 weekend passes to next year’s BackwardsNess, and their name on our trophy Watch our socials for details; also, more Games Garden, Pickle Contest & Zucchini Race times and info available on-site.
Food vendors will be onsite Friday night, and Saturday noon til midnight. The Kid’s Movie will start at 8:30pm and the stage is open for socializing before our evening of live music begins! You’ll be dancing to the lively music of The Salt Licks! Evening show runs 9:30pm – 11:00pm, followed by Karaoke and Campfire Jamming. Bar open 2:00pm – 2:00am; personal alcohol must remain at your campsite/cabin.
Play games, win prizes, visit with friends, walk on the trails, there’s time for quiet reflection and lots of dancing!

Don’t have access to a garden zucchini? Bet you do! There’s lots around this time of year. Ask a friend or make a friend by asking. Some supplies will be on hand; look for wheels at thrift stores (old cars/toy tractors); no motorized wheels allowed – this is a gravity race.
