Events Description

The City of Oshawa is hosting the annual Peony Festival at the Oshawa Valley Botanical Gardens. The popular festival celebrates horticulture, arts and heritage. Many of the more than 300 Peony plants will be in glorious bloom in the gardens, and the same number of cut blooms will be on display during the Ontario Peony Society’s judged flower show.


The Peony Festival features:

One of Canada’s largest contemporary peony collections with over 300 varieties in the garden
Canadian Peony Society Ontario Region judged Peony Show – all entries welcome
Matsuyama Bonsai Society 30th annual show
Garden inspired works by painters, sculptors and artisans
Expert advice and demonstrations
Musical entertainment and cultural performances

The parking lot at 155 Arena Street is reserved for accessible parking.

A free parking shuttle bus will be provided for the Peony Festival on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. The bus will leave every 20 minutes for pick ups and drops offs beginning at 10:00 a.m. and ending at 4:00 p.m..
