Toronto’s Art Scene Gets a New Platform: Art Week Toronto Launches in 2026
Toronto is home to more than 32,000 artists and arts workers, with millions of residents and visitors engaging with the city’s arts scene each year — yet the sector has lacked a unified platform to connect its many players.
That’s set to change with the launch of Art Week Toronto (AWT), a new initiative designed to bring together artists, gallery spaces, collectors, curators, the public, and industry professionals under one banner.
AWT aims to promote and celebrate local artists through exhibitions, cultural programming, and industry-focused opportunities throughout the year.
