Back 2 Roots Youth Festival 2026 is Ontario’s first-ever two-day Punjabi Folk Arts Festival, celebrating the rich traditions of Punjabi dance, music, and culture.The festival will bring together performers and audiences from across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe for a vibrant showcase of Punjabi heritage.
Featuring more than 40 performances over two days, the festival will present a diverse range of traditional art forms, including Bhangra, Giddha, Luddi, Jhoomer, and Folk Singing. With 17 categories spanning multiple age groups and performance styles, Back 2 Roots provides a platform for youth and adult performers to showcase their talents while preserving and promoting authentic Punjabi folk traditions.
As one of North America’s fastest-growing Punjabi folk arts festivals, Back 2 Roots is dedicated to cultural education, community engagement, and creating opportunities for the next generation to connect with their roots. The festival welcomes hundreds of performers and thousands of attendees, making it a premier destination for Punjabi arts and culture.
