Events Description
Meet the High Park Nature Centre at the High Park Amphitheatre for a 30-minute interactive presentation where we’ll learn about all things bat – behaviour, habitat and favourite foods. We’ll leave the stage and explore High Park’s trails using hand-held bat detectors. If we’re lucky we’ll hear the bats’ ultrasonic calls as they swoop and loop during their evening, mid-air forage and spot their silhouettes.
“The baby bat screamed out in fright, ‘Turn on the dark, I’m afraid of the light.”
-Shel Silverstein
