The Bentway’s Summer Food Series kicks off July 1st with the return of last year’s successful Communal Picnic partnership with Toronto restaurant and innovative “culinary talent showcase” The Depanneur.
Communal Picnic offers a weekly three-course picnic meal for neighbours and community members to pick up and enjoy at The Bentway or at home featuring rotating local chefs, international cuisine and a truly unique dining experience every Thursday evening.
On Thursdays in July & August — from Canada Day to Labour Day — The Depanneur will curate a selection of 10 different meals prepared by a diverse group of local chefs, all packaged up for fast, minimal-contact pickup. (July 1 – Sept 2)
As a bonus, we are also partnering with our hot new brunch residency, Don Chingón Cocina Mexicana, to offer a Mexican Brunch Picnic every Saturday. (July 3 — Sept 4).
Who is it for?
Masks are required at pick-up and to access on-site washrooms.

Tickets:
All Communal Picnic & Communal Brunch meals must be pre-ordered.
3-course dinners are $59 for 2, $109 for 4, and $159 for 6 (+HST).
Brunches are $49 for 2, $89 for 4

Picnic dinners: Thursdays, July 1 – Sept 2, between 6-7pm.
Picnic brunches: Saturdays, July 3 — Sept 4, between 12-1pm.
Limited on-site seating will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
