“Building on the Past”

“Building on the Past” pays historical photographic homage to Toronto’s stately skeleton, the city’s building blocks, cast-offs in the form of bricks (bricks used for landmarks such as Massey Hall, Casa Loma, the Ontario Legislature, the University of Toronto’s Hart House and Convocation Hall to name a few).

The series offers a fascinating glimpse into the wardrobe of our collective architecture.
