This summer, Canto Restaurant invites guests to experience its newly launched seasonal menu, available now at the historic Old Mill Toronto. Rooted in contemporary Italian cuisine and inspired by locally sourced seasonal ingredients, the menu blends refined technique with global influences in a warm, relaxed setting.
Led by Chef Franco Ursini, whose culinary roots trace back to Puglia, the summer menu highlights vibrant flavours and approachable elegance. Guests can enjoy seasonal dishes including the Cicoria Salad with raspberries and maple dressing, Vegetables in Pastella with ponzu, and Fregola Salad with burrata, alongside handmade pastas like Tagliolini al Pomodoro and Potato Gnocchi with king oyster mushrooms and pancetta.
Entrées feature elevated seasonal offerings such as Swordfish Steak with caponata, Bluefin Tuna with orange sauce, and Ontario Lamb Loin, as well as signature favourites including the Prime Striploin Tagliata and Humber Smashed Burger.
