Events Description
Caribbean Street Food Festival is about stepping into the warmth of an authentic Caribbean backyard lyme, where food brings people together, music starts conversations and strangers leave as ‘friends.’ It’s not about watching from the sidelines.
Whether your roots are in the Caribbean or you simply want to bask in the warm vibes, this is your invitation.
Caribbean Street Food Festival is about the music, the laughter, the games, the food…and (this year) a debate that’s guaranteed to get you talking.
>>>The Great Debate: Does sugar belong in Rice & Peas?<<<
– The Jamaican says absolutely not. That’s a travesty!
BUT
– The Trini has plenty to say about sweeting up the pot.
Who’s right? Well, well. That’s where YOU come in.
You’ll have the chance to cheer on your side, help decide the winner, and maybe even walk away with a prize. (You’ll have to be there to find out exactly how YOU could be a WINNER.)
The fun keeps going with:
· Jeopardy Caribbean style (yes, there are prizes)
· African drumming, steel pan, soca, calypso and reggae creating the sizzling vibe
· Dance It Out with The Connector
· Dominoes, Ludo/Ludi, games and plenty of reasons to laugh
