Cobourg Sandcastle Festival

Dig up your shovels and pails and get down and dirty in Cobourg this summer for the Annual Sandcastle Festival! Families, businesses, adults and youth may enter to create their own sculptures or castles and win cash prizes!

Watch master sculptors work their magic as they build their masterpieces, compete in the sand sculpture contest during the festival, and enjoy live music, kids’ activities, and an inflatable fun park. Finish up the weekend with a Movie Under the Stars. This is one unforgettable summer weekend in Cobourg. It’s a beach day like no other!

8:30 a.m. Amateur competition registration table opens
10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Amateur competitions
10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Beach DJ
10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Inflatable park in Victoria Park
3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Amateur contest judging and winner announcements
5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Bedazzled Comedy-Juggling Show with Noah Nogueira on the beach. Following the show, visitors can meet Noah and take a memorable photo with the performer.
8:30 p.m. Movie under the Stars in Victoria Park | Lilo and Stitch

Free shuttles will be running on August 12 from 9am to 6pm from the Northumberland Mall and Cobourg Community Centre to Cobourg Beach. There is free parking at both parking locations
