Urban Capers Scavenger Hunts is hosting four free holiday scavenger hunts in Toronto’s Distillery District this December, combining festive fun with community giving. Participants who bring non-perishable food donations will earn bonus points while supporting those facing food insecurity. The games are designed for adults but open to families with kids as well.
Some example of the challenges:
12 Days of Feathers: A partridge in a pear tree, two turtledoves, three french hens, four calling birds… Your true love really thinks you love feathers, huh? Show us how you’d react after four days of fowl gifts.
Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire:
There’s something special about the smell of wood smoke in the crisp December air. Capture yourself warming up by a crackling fire. Feel free to get creative with this one!
Haute Couture
Strike a pose wearing a garment worthy of the Met Gala…but it must be made entirely of winter finds – scarves, poinsettias, gift wrap, Christmas lights, pine cones, tinsel, whatever you can find!

Tickets : Free to participate; donation of non-perishable food items suggested
Registration is required in order to secure a spot.
Teams who bring a donation of non-perishable food items will start the game with 1000 bonus points!
