Annual Santa Claus Parade.

The Etobicoke Lakeshore Parade is a must-see for anyone living in South Etobicoke! Join us for a parade that is completely volunteer-run and funded by the community.
Come for Santa, stay for the community experience!

Venue & Address :

The Parade will run from Dwight Avenue to Longbranch Avenue along the Lakeshore.
Road closures will be in place for part of the day.

Starting at 7am until 11am, to allow for staging:

  • Birmingham Street, between Sixth St and Dwight Avenue both directions
  • Dwight Avenue, southbound between Birmingham Street and Lakeshore Boulevard West

Traffic will be allowed to flow north on Dwight Avenue from Lakeshore to Birmingham, to allow access to Albani Street and Maple Boulevard and to exit Heman Street

Starting at 9am till 12pm, for the Parade, the full road closures include:

  • Lakeshore Boulevard West, from Dwight Avenue to Thirtieth Street both directions (including the intersection at Colonel Samuel Smith Park Drive and at Thirtieth Street)
  • Thirtieth Street, between Lakeshore Boulevard West and Elder Avenue
  • Lakeshore Boulevard West, from Royal York Rd to Dwight Avenue will be restricted to Local Traffic Only

Residents may enter and exit the neighbourhood south of Lakeshore from First Street to Thirteenth Street via First Street along Lakeshore Drive and Morrison Street. Those wishing to access the neighbourhood south of Lakeshore between Twenty Third Street and Thirty First
Street, may do so using Thirty First Street and Lake Promenade.

There will be no access to the neighbourhood north of Lakeshore between Sixth and Dwight between 9am and 11am, while the parade is moving out of the staging area. Access will be open from Birmingham only, from 11am till 12pm.

TTC Route diversions begin at 9:30am and run till 12:30am.

Busses will divert up Royal York Road to Judson Street, across Judson Street to Horner Avenue, across Horner Avenue to Brown’s
Line and south on Brown’s Line to the Longbranch Loop. Visit TTC.ca to confirm schedules.
Any vehicles parked along Lakeshore Blvd W after 9am on Saturday December 2 nd will be towed by Parking Enforcement. Vehicles parked in other road closed areas during the times mentioned above (Thirtieth St, Birmingham St) will also be towed by Parking Enforcement.
