Calling York Region youth! Join H.E.A.L. (Health Empowerment & Arts Leverage), a series of free arts workshops for youth ages 14-29. Led by artists with trauma-informed training, H.E.A.L. provides a safe, supportive space to try new art-making techniques, discover tools to unpack emotional trauma and promote healing and mental wellness through creativity.
Drop-ins welcome! All participants will receive a wellness kit with art materials. YRT fare and refreshments are provided weekly. An honorarium will be provided to youth community leaders who help organize the Youth Summit!
