Canada’s Largest Korean Festival Returns to Toronto This August
Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the Toronto Korean Festival (TKF)—Canada’s largest Korean cultural event—is set to return from Friday, August 22 to Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Mel Lastman Square in North York, with over 100,000 visitors expected to attend throughout the weekend.
[Festival Highlights – TKF 2025] 🔸 Main Stage K-POP Showcase [Aug 23 – 24] Performances by ONE PACT (@0nepact), a powerful 5-member K-pop boy group that made waves earlier this year by topping music charts. Their performances will headline the Saturday and Sunday night stages.
🔸 Korean Royal Hanbok Show [Aug 23 – 24] Presented by the Hanbok Cultural Resource Foundation from Atlanta, USA, this immersive performance will highlight Korea’s royal attire and heritage.
🔸 Funkyverse Performance [Aug 22] As seen on Canada’s Got Talent with multiple Golden Buzzer wins, Funkyverse (@funkyverse.crew)—a top-tier street dance crew featuring Korean-Canadian dancers—will deliver an unforgettable experience.
🔸 Taekwondo Masters Performance [Aug 23 – 24] Showcasing dynamic martial arts by Canadian champions from KBBMA and JUNGKO, combining tradition and precision.
🔸 K-POP DJ Show [Aug 22 -23] A late-night DJ stage featuring MOOBEK (Seattle) and Shyykimm (Toronto), spinning the best of K-POP beats on Friday and Saturday nights.
In addition to stage programming, the festival will feature a K-Culture Zone with Korean traditional games, hanbok experiences, and fan-favorite Random Play Dance (RPD) events for all to join.
Food lovers can enjoy the popular K-Street Food section, with over 30 booths offering Korean cuisine and snacks. The Chimek Garden at the ice rink area will serve up Korean-style fried chicken with beer, soju, and makgeolli.
Over 40 marketplace booths will also be open throughout the festival, welcoming visitors to explore Korean crafts, goods, and services.
