Beat your end-of-summer boredom with the party kids have been waiting for all summer. Join the City of Markham on Saturday, August 24 at its exciting annual children’s festival, now at the new Aaniin Community Centre & Library, located in the heart of southeast Markham.
For 19 years, the Markham-Milliken Children’s Festival has attracted thousands of families from across Markham, the Greater Toronto Area and southern Ontario. This “must-attend” special summer event is host to a full day of fun for kids, featuring live entertainment, princesses and superheroes, play zones, inflatables and more.
The Markham-Milliken Children’s Festival offers a wide variety of safe, fun and educational FREE Play Zones and activities for kids. Let your children’s imagination run wild and learn something new! Meet Ariel and Snow White, join a sing-along and watch a Magic Show by Farco Entertainment

$10 play-all-day passes at one of Markham’s community centres for exclusive access to rides and attractions.

Free Shuttle Service and Parking
The Aaniin Community Centre & Library (5665 14th Avenue) is easily accessible by public transit.
A free shuttle service will also be provided.Starts at 9:30 AM from Markham Civic Centre. Pick up at Milliken Mills Community Centre and arrive at Aaniin by 10 AM.
- The frequency of shuttles will be every half hour with the last bus from Markham Civic Centre at 5:00 PM
- Buses will continue to run from Aaniin to Milliken and Civic Centre until 8:00 pm.
