Beat your end-of-summer boredom with the party kids have been waiting for all summer. Join the City of Markham at its exciting annual children’s festival, now at the Aaniin Community Centre & Library, located in the heart of southeast Markham.

For over 20 years, the Markham-Milliken Children’s Festival has attracted thousands of families from across Markham, the Greater Toronto Area and southern Ontario. This “must-attend” special summer event is host to a full day of fun for kids, featuring live entertainment, princesses and superheroes, play zones, inflatables and more.

Throughout the day, there will be a variety of fun and educational activities in our Play Zones and live entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. The following are all free:

  • Mini Putt
  • Building Block Area
  • Bubble Zone
  • STEM and Interactive Activities

$10 plus HST ($14 onsite)!

A Play-All-Day Pass gives children access to all rides and inflatables! Each child must have their own Play-All-Day Pass to access these attractions.

There is no parking at Aaniin Community Centre on September 9, 2023, except for designated accessible parking spots.

Free parking is available at Milliken Mills Community Centre & Library – 7600 Kennedy Road(External link), where you can access the free shuttle service to the event site (to and from Aaniin Community Centre & Library).

Free parking will also be available at the Middlefield Collegiate Institute parking lot – 525 Highglen Ave. Space is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.

Shuttle services will run from Milliken Mills Community Centre to Aaniin Community Centres and back every 30 minutes.

First bus at 9:30 AM, last bus leaves at 6:00 PM.

Aaniin Community Centre to Milliken Mills Community Centre

First bus at 10:00 AM, last bus leaves at 7:30 PM.
