The Mississauga Santa Claus Parade featuring over 15 custom designed floats and over 1,500 participants including marching bands, dancers, fitness and sports clubs, community groups and dignitaries and an expected crowd of over 30,000.
“There is no experience more rewarding than watching the joy on a child’s face the moment they spot Santa Claus arriving during the parade,” says Gautam Sharma, Advertising and Marketing Director of The Mississauga News. “It’s a holiday tradition which puts smiles on children’s faces and makes memories that last a lifetime.”
The parade also supports many important local charitable organizations such as the Mississauga Food Bank, United Way of Peel Region, Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, MADD, the Breakfast with Santa Fund and others.
The Mississauga Santa Claus Parade is a community effort, sponsored by The Mississauga News, Erin Mills Auto Centre and several local businesses.
