Montgomery’s Inn Lantern Tours

This Halloween, Montgomery’s Inn invites visitors after dark to uncover eerie tales about the past inhabitants of the Inn and the Old Town of Islington. Visitors will explore the historic house and the Islington burying grounds, learn about Victorian death practices, and find new ways to connect with Toronto’s past.

This guided tour of the historic house will be followed by a walking tour of the nearby Islington Burying grounds. Following the walking tour, guests will return to the historic house for refreshments by the fire.Trigger warning: topics such as illness, death and other difficult topics will be discussed during this event.

Who is it for?

This program is for ages 12 and up. Youth 12-16 years of age much be accompanied by an adult ticketholder.
