City staff work for you. Ask to speak to their manager, if they refuse go up the chain. Of course capture them on your phone and post the video to social media. Things change rather quickly when tourism is involved.

City corruption extends from the mayor’s office, councillors, city staff, down to the ice rink staff.
    Users get first hand experience.

If you have skated for your whole life why are you renting skates? You should know better for such an experienced skater. And also be thankful that they even have skates because many rinks in other cities don’t even off this luxury. Ungrateful wow.

Rented the shittiest pair of skates I have ever used with the raunchiest smelling laces. I dosed my hands in sanitizer about seven times and washed my hands four times since getting home and they still stink. My mitts stink and even my phone stinks. I have skated my entire life and after one step on the ice found the skates unsafe. They are so dull your feet slip out under you. If you don’t normally skate and think you are a bad skater it is most likely just these horrible skates.
Do not rent from these guys. Staff were extremely rude and would not refund saying “what did you expect”. I would give a zero rating if I could. Save yourself from a horrible experience and rent from someplace else ahead of time. Price is now $15 and closing time is 9:30.
