Events Description

Night School: Where Scholarship Meets Cultural Life

Real stories from Woodstock, John Lennon, and rock’s wildest moments – live, unfiltered Night School with Johnny Brower.

Class Topic: What does it mean to have been there before it became history?

This isn’t a lecture. It’s a live, unfiltered masterclass in instinct, risk, and making things happen before the world catches up.

At Night School, Johnny Brower (iconic rock promoter and culture curator) brings something rare: first-hand perspective on how culture actually moves and how risk, timing, community, and creative problem-solving shape the moments the world later calls history.

His story is captured in the Crave documentary Revival69: The Concert That Rocked the World, which premiered at Hot Docs and SXSW, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how one of the most pivotal concerts in music history came together against all odds.

What is Night School? A live lecture series for people who want more from their nights.

Night School brings ideas out of the classroom and into the room, not as a performance, but as something to be experienced together. Each evening begins with a research-driven or lived-experience based talk and opens into live dialogue in a setting that feels social, thoughtful, and alive.

Come for the ideas. Stay for the conversation.
