The festival will again run for a full 10 days, this year starting Friday, June 7 through Sunday, June 16.

NXNE will again launch with its Game Land, eSports Competition Friday, through Sunday, June 7 – 9. NXNE’s hugely popular Game Land, one of Canada’s leading eSports events, kicks off the festival each year, with online tournaments and a weekend of live gaming and eSports. Professional gamers and talented amateurs compete for cash prizes in person and online through NXNE’s Twitch channel.

The Club Land series takes over many of Toronto’s top live music venues for NXNE’s full 10 days with many venues having extended last call till 4 am. The Club Land shows are programmed by Canada’s top musicians as well as leading music Tastemakers, and accessible with a $29 priority admission. Look for even more than the 20 musician Curators from 2018 and many more Tastemakers including international showcases.

NXNE CLUB LAND will continue to offer programming that represents the diverse communities of Toronto through its Curator Series and other notable shows. It will feature shows programmed by leading Canadian musicians that highlight emerging artist showcases, art installations, late night DJ sets and after parties, all in the city’s most cherished venues. The Curator Series aims to encourage music fans of all genres to club hop across the city and witness their favourite artists transform the showcase experience.

NXNE will again be closing down two blocks of Yonge Street to car traffic and opening it up for fun with the creation of Festival Village from Dundas to Queen, Friday June 14 to Sunday, June 16.

In addition to the Festival Village’s Main stage, NXNE on Yonge also includes: a free Comedy Tent, gaming stations, a beer and spirits garden, additional music stages and much more.

NXNE returns this June with more curators, more club shows, and an expanded FESTIVAL VILLAGE that will include four stages for live performances. 2019’s CLUB LAND and FESTIVAL VILLAGE will offer audiences a diverse slate of globally recognized and emerging hip-hop, indie rock and pop acts at over 20 of the top music venues in Toronto.
