Through the cracks of the floorboards in You Are Everywhere, one of Hajra Waheed’s installations at The Power Plant, we can see twinkling stars. They can be easily missed if you don’t pay close attention. In this workshop, we will collectively create a large-scale alternate universe on black paper using paint with tin foil, plastic wrap, tape, and marbles.
Power Kids is a free and collaborative art-making workshop. It is for children ages 7-12 and their adult companions. Adults must remain with their children throughout these programs.
• Each session is capped at 36 participants and registration is strongly recommended as spaces fill up
• Any spaces that have been reserved but not claimed by 3:10 PM will be released to drop-in participants
