Events Description

Experience an evening of electrifying music and virtuosic brilliance with the Kindred Spirits Orchestra as it brings together some of the most thrilling works in the repertoire. The concert opens with Franz Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody no. 2, a dazzling display of fiery rhythms, virtuosic runs, and the unmistakable spirit of Hungarian folk dance. Next, the spotlight shines on Aidan Cheng, grand prize winner of the 2025 International Music Festival and Competition, performing Sergei Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto no. 2 – a masterpiece of sweeping romantic melodies and emotional depth, brought vividly to life through Aidan’s technical mastery and expressive artistry. The evening concludes with Claude Debussy’s Images, immersing the audience in a world of shimmering orchestral colors, delicate textures, and evocative moods. From exhilarating fireworks to intimate impressionistic landscapes, this program highlights the orchestra’s brilliance and the extraordinary talent of a rising piano star—an unforgettable night for all lovers of musical beauty and virtuosity.
