Experience The Samurai’s Daughter, a captivating March Break family puppet show presented March 20 & 21, 2026, at the Maja Prentice Theatre in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Recommended for ages 6+, this live performance invites audiences into a mysterious world where nothing is quite as it seems. A young prince encounters a girl who never removes the large rice bowl covering her head—why is it there, and what is she hiding?

This production is part of Puppet Festival Mississauga, an international March Break festival. Presented by Senju Theatre Company from Bulgaria, mentored by master puppeteer Senju Takeda from Japan, the show uses the Takeda-style marionette technique to bring this unforgettable story to life.
