Events Description
She Be Lady celebrating Int’l Women’s Dey w/ a live concert featuring R&B icon Tweet alongside amaka. and Leila Dey.
Supafrik, DJ Revy B and the Afrotropolis Arts Collective are proud to present She Be Lady celebrating International Women’s Day with a Live Music Concert. Headlining: the legendary vocalist, TWEET.
With her unmistakable tone and chart topping hits like “Oops” and “Call Me”, Tweet defined an era of soul and continues to inspire artists worldwide. She’s bringing that Southern Hummingbird magic to Revival for an unforgettable night.
She’ll be joined by two of Toronto’s most compelling rising stars:
amaka. – the Nigerian‑born Alt‑R&B artist known for soul‑baring lyrics and ethereal, emotionally immersive performances recognized across Canada, the U.S., and Europe by CBC Music, NOW Magazine, Lyrical Lemonade, and BBC Radio 1Xtra.
Leila Dey – raised in Toronto with roots in Jamaica, she’s a transformative R&B force whose buttery vocals and cinematic storytelling have taken her from local stages to major North American tours, including a 16-city tour supporting Jessie Reyez.
And when the concert wraps, the celebration keeps going with DJ Revy B carrying the night forward with her seemless blend of R&B and Afro. Come for the concert, stay for the party.
