They haven’t seen each other since the 1980s. Now two accomplished architects are reunited in a glass-walled Toronto office tower on the eve of a high-stakes competition. Both intend to keep things strictly professional. That proves harder than expected.
As a long-buried chapter of their shared history resurfaces, a polite reunion turns into a pointed, funny sparring match about memory, ambition, and how much the rules have changed. Meanwhile, their twentysomething colleagues look on—and aren’t shy about weighing in.
