The Art Museum at the University of Toronto presents ‘The Children Have to Hear Another Story’ a groundbreaking exhibition that celebrates the life work of one of the most acclaimed Indigenous directors in the world, Alanis Obomsawin. Running from September 7th to November 25th, the exhibition will feature unprecedented access not only to Obomsawin’s films but also the archives related to their production. Presented in chronological order, it is a comprehensive overview of her films, artworks, prints, and music along with ephemera, documents and media coverage that provide new insight into her work.
