Get ready to PROST! to weekends of beer, food, music and Oktoberfest fun in the heart of The Distillery District.
The Distillery District is teaming up with Mill Street Brewery for a distinctly Distillery take on Oktoberfest, filling its historic cobblestone streets with Bavarian-inspired food, cold beer, live music, and plenty of Bavarian “Gemütlichkeit” – that warm feeling of good cheer, good company and good times shared together.
Each Saturday and Sunday, visitors can drop into the Pure Spirits Courtyard from 2:00 – 9:00 p.m. for free, open-to-the-public programming. *
Oktoberfest Highlights
- Live polka on the Trinity Street Stage: The Black Forest Band, a Kitchener-based group widely recognized for its Oktoberfest performances, takes to the Trinity Stage from 2:00–5:00 p.m. September 19–20, September 26–27 and October 3. On October 4, The Happy Wanderers take over with traditional – and some not-so-traditional – beer hall music from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
- Live music in the Pure Spirits Courtyard every festival day from 6:00–9:00 p.m.
- Saturday Beer Pong: Grab a partner and put your skills to the test with a Beer Pong Tournament every Saturday from 5:00–6:00 p.m. in the Pure Spirits Courtyard.
- Sunday Oktoberfest Trivia: Think you know your beer, Bavaria and Oktoberfest traditions? Quizmaster Jess puts that knowledge to the test every Sunday from 5:00–6:00 p.m., with a $50 gift card up for grabs.
- Oktoberfest eats and Mill Street beer: Grab-and-go food from the Pure Spirits Courtyard smoker and grill will be available throughout the festival, alongside a selection of Mill Street beers. Food highlights include: currywurst poutine, chicken schnitzel kaiser sandwich, spätzle and cheese, smoked brisket “rueben” sandwich, sausage, and warm pretzels.
