This is What Living Feels Like Opening Reception

From May 22-28, 2026, Artist and writer Sami McKay will present a collection of mixed media works that reside in the tension between beauty and discomfort, asking not what life looks like but how it truly feels. This Is What Living Feels Like will come to life at Remote Gallery (568 Richmond St. W., Toronto), for a week-long exhibition that moves beyond the traditional format to become an immersive, community-centred experience.

The exhibition opens with a public reception on Friday, May 22, from 7-9 pm, welcoming guests into a space that is intimate and experiential for a ticketed first peek. In addition, Sami invites the public to attend the many events taking place throughout the week.
