Events Description

On our first anniversary, Eternal Happiness is thrilled to present photography exhibition titled ‘Through the Eyes of an Immigrant’.

This exhibition explores how migration reshapes perception of land, lineage, social realities, and the concept of home. We bring together three Toronto-based photographers whose work ranges from landscapes, documentary, photojournalism, and capturing the essence of everyday life – intertwining the complexities of living between places.

The photographs invite viewers to consider how familiar and unfamiliar worlds collide, and the infinite ways of how home and diaspora are reimagined.

It also deep dives into socio-political realities of various first world cities, that many think are uncommon but in reality, are too common and just the same in every part of the world. Thus, this exhibit implores the viewer to scratch the surface to find commonalities, to question, and to ponder.
