Toronto International Ballet Theatre (TIBT) proudly announces The Nutcracker – a timeless tradition reimagined in Toronto.
TIBT is excited to announce that Elisabeth Beyer and Cy Doherty, two extraordinary artists from the American Ballet Theatre, will be joining the cast. Elisabeth, renowned for her impeccable technique and expressive performances, has earned international acclaim and numerous prestigious awards. Cy, known for his dynamic athleticism and compelling artistry, brings a rich depth of experience to our production.
Under the guidance of Artistic Director Tatiana Stepanova, TIBT’s The Nutcracker has become a hallmark of the holiday season. With original choreography that speaks to the heart, lavish costumes, and breathtaking sets, this production has enchanted audiences for over a decade.
Guest Star Carollina Bastos, a soloist renowned for her captivating performances, joins the cast from the Bayerisches Staatsballett. Her presence in “The Nutcracker” adds a layer of international allure, showcasing the universal language of dance.
