Toronto Outdoor Picture Show – Corktown Common

TOPS is back at Corktown Common for our sixth summer series.

At the east-side iteration of our Another World programme at parks across the city, audiences can look forward to discovering the world of the Harlem ballroom scene (Paris is Burning, with a live pre-show performance), the traditional wuxia world of martial arts (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon), the dystopian future of The Matrix, the world of Amélie’s colourful imagination, the manufactured reality of The Truman Show, and the limitless possibilities of Wakanda in Black Panther.

As always, attendees will be treated to excellent short films by local and Canadian filmmakers paired with each feature.
