Wonder in the Woods

A journey through the woods is truly a personal wonderland of adventure. It is a time to explore, enjoy the solitude and to get closer to nature.

Lucy and Lawrence Kristan are talented wood turners who design and create beautiful art pieces. Creating organic vessels from local woods to delicate birds nesting.

Painter Marnie Cooke presents art on canvas that conveys an abstract interpretation of nature. Her background in dance follows through with her use of colour and movement in her paintings.

Aspiring wildlife photographer, William Mitchell, a recent graduate of the Niagara College Photography program, will display some of his beautiful photos.

This ultra-creative Headwaters Arts member’s trio will present an exciting multimedia exhibition at the Headwaters Arts Gallery at the Alton Mill Arts Centre. The show runs from July 1st, to August 3rd.

The Artist’s reception is on July 5, from 1-4pm in the Headwaters Art Gallery. Come and meet the artists.

The Headwater Arts Gallery in the Alton Mills Arts Centre is open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am until 5:pm. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
