Pizza Hut Canada is introducing their latest culinary innovation, the Handcrafted Crust, via a Repizza campaign.
The Repizza campaign is a giveaway of over 50,000 free pizzas, totalling over $1 million, on December 4th.
Building on their legacy of the Original Stuffed Crust and Original Pan, Pizza Hut’s new Handcrafted Crust aims to redefine the pizza experience with its light and airy texture.
To celebrate this launch, customers are invited to bring any empty pizza box, regardless of its origin, to a Pizza Hut store and receive a free pizza refill. This unique offer is limited to the first 100 customers per store and features two choices: a medium Handcrafted Pepperoni Duo or Smoky Tri-Cheese pizza.
Daniel Meynen, Chief Marketing Officer at Pizza Hut Canada, emphasizes that this crust was reimagined and tested with Canadian customers to ensure it meets their high standards for taste and flavour.
The concept of a pizza refill, inspired by the idea of soda refills, is straightforward – bring an empty pizza box and exchange it for a fresh pizza with the new crust.
With no pre-orders or delivery options available, customers must be present in-store to claim their pizza. And while any pizza box is acceptable for the trade-in, including those from other pizzerias and even frozen pizza brands, the refill comes in a fresh Pizza Hut box.
Pizza Hut’s Handcrafted Crust is now a staple in stores nationwide, available in a variety of recipes like Pepperoni Duo, Cheddar Bacon Ranch, Smoky Tri-Cheese, and Fajita Chicken.

Limited to the Duo Pepperoni and Tri-Cheese Blend Handcrafted crust recipe pizzas only. No recipe adjustments or substitutions allowed. One free pizza per guest. Available for up to the first 100 guests.
When: Promotion begins at time of respective store opening Monday, December 4, 2023 EST and ends at 11:59pm local time on Monday, December 4, 2023 “Promotion Period”, or while supplies last.
