Diner on Wheels: Zellers Announce Food Truck Concept and Menu Available When Locations Open

The Hudsons Bay Company has some gastronomic news for those looking forward to Zellers’ relaunch this spring at 25 locations across the country.

The Bay through a news release announced that a nostalgia-inspired menu would be offered via food trucks — Zellers Diner on Wheels. Zellers says a food truck concept will be used due to the lack of space at the 10,000 sq ft footprint “Zellers Experience” inside Hudson’s Bay stores.

The menu available at the diner was selected based on a nationwide poll and will initially include five items:

Big Z Burger
Hot Chicken Sandwich
Grilled Cheese
Chicken Fingers
Fries & Gravy

Zellers says the Diner on wheels will be at its locations during the reopening and following the comeback, it will head out for its cross-Canada debut. Tour dates and locations will be shared at a later date.
