Dr. Oetker is introducing its new premium frozen pizza, Suprema, through a series of public opera performances in downtown Toronto.
The centerpiece of the launch is a custom-written, one-act opera that draws on themes of revival and craftsmanship.
The narrative follows a sculptor who brings a frozen figure to life—an allegorical representation of how Suprema aims to transform perceptions of frozen pizza through artisanal preparation and quality ingredients.
The event, hosted at the TD Music Hall at 178 Victoria Street, will run from July 5 to July 19, 2025.
The opera will be performed across several dates with multiple showings each day. On July 5 and July 12, there will be eight performances, beginning at 12:15 p.m. and continuing hourly until 7:15 p.m. July 6 and July 19 will each feature seven and eight shows, respectively. Fewer performances are scheduled for July 11, 13, and 18.
The launch will include full product sampling of the Suprema line, featuring four varieties. Among them are a Calabrese ’Nduja topped with hot honey and a five-cheese blend that includes DOP-certified Grana Padano.
Admission to the performances is free.
