Ontario Parks has once again teamed up with Collective Arts Brewing for a second year to create Trail Loops Honey Lager and merchandise to support reforestation efforts at Balsam Lake Provincial Park near Kawartha Lakes.

In a blend of charity and cheers, thirty cents from each can of Trail Loop sold, and 50 per cent of merchandise sales will flow directly to plant over 1,000 trees at the park.

The Collective Arts Brewing website describes Trail Loop Honey Lager as “Created as an homage to our home province of Ontario and all it has to offer, we used a generous amount of honey to give this brew its floral notes, both on the nose and on the palate. Light in body and colour, Trail Loop has a balanced dry finish that makes this beer incredibly drinkable.”

The can is designed by Toronto artist Gosia Komorski.

Trail Loop merchandise includes a water bottle and a baseball hat.

Situated in the heart of south-central Ontario along the Trent-Severn Waterway, Balsam Lake Provincial Park has been a recreational haven since its establishment in 1968. Balsam Lake Provincial Park offers various leisure activities, such as boating, fishing, camping, and hiking.

Trail Loop is available through Collective Arts Brewing, at selected grocery stores, and soon at The Beer Store. The exclusive merchandise is available at collectiveartsontario.com.

In 2022, the collaboration raised close to $6,000 for the park.
