Maverick’s Donuts

Edmonton recently saw the grand opening of its first Maverick’s Donuts, a newer Canadian donut chain. The first location is in the deep south of Edmonton, so it was only fitting that they open the next Edmonton Maverick’s Donuts on the north side! These donuts are baked to perfection with a modest number of toppings so you can taste the amazing donut recipe they use.

The Colombian

The Colombian is Edmonton’s fastest-growing coffee roasters and local cafes. They recently opened their fourth location in the city, but it might be hard to find if you don’t know where to look. But all you need to do is look for the big Todd Cleaners sign on Whyte Ave. The café took over the easily recognizable building and the left the exterior with its old Whyte charm! Inside you’ll find a modern café with fresh brews, sweet treats, and a nice place to enjoy a book.
