Calgary is getting a new 12,000 sq. ft. antique market on May 1st.
Opening near Costco in the Heritage Meadows shopping complex, Ella Grace Marketplace will feature curated mid-century, vintage and antique treasures and upcycled and repurposed creations.
Founded by Dawn and Merrill Dynes, the permanent market will be open seven days a week with 60 individual antique dealers and collectors. The antique dealers will be showcasing their varied and rich collection available for sale, which will include mid-century, vintage, antique and hand-created items with thematic ‘rooms’ within the marketplace.
Collections include a broad and eclectic selection of treasures from sports, auto and oil and gas memorabilia and militaria to primitive, antique and mid-century furniture, fine art and prints, kitchen and hardware, clothing and textiles, decorative arts, jewelry, crystal and china, toys and books and records, and much more.
Once the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, you will be able to join for dress-up days, on-site roadshows and lunch and learn days, feature sales, and pop-up car boot weekends where the general public can sell their own once-loved items.
