Buecking’s project, titled MATTERS OF FACT, emerges out of her continuing investigation into the products (and consequences) of neoliberalism. Her wall works, sculptures and related media appropriate the recurring motifs of such systems to in turn interrogate their value and efficacy. Presented by Susan Hobbs Gallery.
6. Drop in Clay Classes
Suitable for students of all levels, this is a great way to try out the various techniques for working with clay. The drop-in session begins with a brief demonstration by a professional ceramist who is then on-hand to answer any questions you may have about your clay project. At the end of the class you can send your object for firing or take it home to air dry. Join the drop-in for a second time to glaze and fire your object for use in your home.
