Extreme Cold Weather Warning Ends for Edmonton

After nearly a week of record breaking cold across the province, Environment Canada has ended the extreme weather warning for Edmonton area.


Sunday, January 19, 2020 is predicted to bring a high of -16 degrees, though wind chill will remain minus 35 in the morning and minus 22 in the afternoon. By Tuesday, January 21, temperature will rise to a high of zero with Friday, January 24 predicted to be around 4 degrees bringing the perfect weather for Boardwalk Ice on Whyte Festival.
