Family Fun Things to Do in Chilliwack

Located approximately 100 kilometers from the city of Vancouver, Chilliwack is an excellent base for those families who love outdoor activities and agricultural adventures. With a blend of city and country, this area offers lots of things to do for kids of all ages. We have included activities in the nearby Cultus Lake area as well.

ATCHELITZ THRESHERMAN’S MUSEUM AND PIONEER VILLAGE

This museum and village are open year-round, so families can visit in any season. Self guided or volunteer led tours of the buildings and area are available, so it is easy for families to enjoy every aspect of the site. Based on the history of the agriculture in the area, kids will find this a fun place to explore. Details

CULTUS LAKE ADVENTURE PARK

A theme park located just out of the city, this amazing destination will have your kids screaming for joy as they experience each and every ride and attraction. With rides and activities for any and all ages, kids will have a blast discovering some unique rides and fun things to do at this adventure park. GIGGLE RIDGE

While technically inside the Adventure Park, we like to think that this mini golf course could be a destination all on its own. The entrance to the Park is free, so you can choose to only visit the golf course. With 18 holes of different levels and with their own challenges, players can try to win a free game by sinking a hole in one on the 18th hole. Details

CHILLIBOWL LANES

Twenty-four lanes of five pin bowling are available at this facility for kid’s enjoyment. There are some learn to bowl classes or take advantage of the regular bowling times. On Friday and Saturday nights families can boogie down at the Disco Bowling Nights. Details

Not too far out of the city you will find the nicest outdoor destination possible. This provincial park offers many water sports opportunities, such as kayaking, canoeing, swimming and fishing, so if your kids are into water sports, this is the place for you. A unique golf course that offers 18 holes of par 70 holes. This is the one and only of its kind in the Lower Mainland, so your kids will love the chance to try it out.
